These power cord reels are designed for use in indoor, non-weathertight applications. The reinforced steel construction offers maximum strength and consistent quality while individually powder coated components protect against premature corrosion. High quality spring steel is used and conditioned to ensure there are no imperfections while the drive spring itself features a declutching arbor, virtually eliminating the possibility of spring damage due to reverse winding. All power cord reels are UL Listed and CSA approved. The included heavy-duty collector ring assures maximum conductivity. Please note, the GFCI Receptacle is designed to protect from line-to-ground shock hazards. It does not protect against short circuits or overloads. Power cord reels are shipped in the top wind position. The images here show the reels in the side wind position.
